Security Hierachy in the  North West Region calls on the inhabitants of Boyo Division to conquer fear, and  cooperate with military to help fight against the atrocities of the seccessionist groups in the Division. The military hierarchy in the Region (Generals Nka Valere of the 5th joint Military Region and Ekongwese Divine of the 5th Gendarmerie legion) visited Boyo division, this Sunday August 30th 2020 and during their visit, they urged the population to stand up for their rights and stamp out terrorist activities in the Division; that a few misguided boys should not take the people hostage for egoistic reasons.

"We are tired of the atrocities the Amba boys are committing in the community which includes things like kidnaps, raping our women, killings, blocking roads for us not to travel out of the Division, harassing us for support and making life so unbearable for the very people they claim they are protecting. Enough is Enough, we don't want anything to do with them in our land again" Said one of the inhabitants of Fundong

To general Ekongwese Divine “The boys are causing you much pain and it takes more, the population to put a stop to such misery imposed on them by the seccessionist groups. Stand against them and the administration is here to help you live a better life.A tiny group of people should not disturb the activities of peace loving people of Boyo division”

In keeping with respecting the COVID 19 health challenge preventive measures, the defense hierarchy in the North West region distributed soaps to the population to help them uphold basic hygiene of Jan washing in respect to COVID 19 in the area.
